About Trailarly

Trailarly publishes research-based buying guides for camping and hiking gear. We cover sleep systems, camp kitchen gear and hiking gear.

Who we write for

We write for campers and hikers who want gear matched to a specific trip and sleeper, such as a pad for side sleepers or a stove for solo trips. Each guide answers one buying question for one kind of buyer, so it can go deep on the details that change the choice.

Who writes the guides

Every guide is written by the Trailarly Editorial Team. We do not use personal bylines or editor profiles.

How we work

Trailarly is a research-only site. We do not buy, unbox or run our own product tests, and we never claim that we did. We read maker product pages, spec sheets and manuals, confirm the model is sold on Amazon US, and read patterns across many verified owner reviews. Each guide shows the date we last checked it. Our How We Research page explains the full method.

How we are funded

Trailarly is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. We earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through our Amazon links. Commissions never decide which product we pick or how we rank it. See our Amazon Associates disclosure and our Editorial Policy.
